We've found a home in Grafton, MA
We had a good feeling about our debut performance at the Reunion Tap and Table, and we weren't disappointed.
Great food, friendly people, great waitstaff and a terrific ambiance! So we're heading back on March 15th, and look for us to visit Reunion
once a month after that.

If missed us at our debut at The Reunion Tap and Table in Grafton, you've got another chance coming up in March, and we're working out a schedule for more dates after that.
All the feedback we'd heard about Reunion before we played our date in January suggested we were in for a treat, and indeed it was. With two Graftonites in the group (Mitch and Jerry both live in town) we knew it was going to be special. We received a very warm welcome and got some very encouraging feedback from customers and staff alike. And the most encouraging news is that we're coming back in March and working out details for dates through the end of the year. Check out the artists pages on the site to find out more about Mitch, Jerry and Paul. They've played with a who's who of New England and nationally recognized artists from Joe Beck, Herb Pomeroy and George Garzone to Paul Broadax, Stan Strickland, Alan Dawson and Rick Danko. They've played at Sculler's, The Regatta Bar, Berklee Performance Center, Yoshi's in San Francisco and clubs, concerts and festivals across the US and abroad. Mitch has taught at Berklee College of Music for nearly 25 years and Paul has been teaching at Brown University for over 30! Their repertoire consists of timeless standards and ballads, classic jazz tunes, and a few distinctive originals. |
Good food and good music. What's better than that? ” |

nMaybe it's all the years of practice and experience. Maybe it's the thousands of hours listening to all the greats - Jim, Hall, Kenny Burrell, Ray Brown, Roy Haynes and so many more. And maybe it's just that we have a ball playing together. Whatever it is, it seems to be working.
I'd played with Jerry years ago when he subbed a on a few gigs with Providence area pianist, composer and educator Joe Parillo. I knew Mitch only by his reputation and from some of the wonderful CDs he'd made for Worcester based Brownstone Records. I was working for RI based North Star Music at the time and used to meet with Brownstone owner Jack Wertheimer over breakfast to talk shop and compare notes. He gave me Mitch's CDs, some of which featured legendary drummer and (my) teacher Alan Dawson. Then, as fate would have it, Grafton, MA saxophonist Kelly Clark, with whom I've played a few dates a year for many years, started using Mitch and Jerry on some of those gigs, and we just clicked. We started a regular jam session, and soon realized it had the potential to be much more. We just enjoyed "The Conversation". Paul Mason |
